Tender – Towner Art Gallery

23 December 2013
Tender – Towner Art Gallery

Towner Art Gallery in Eastbourne, East Sussex, is seeking Expressions of Interest from businesses interested in managing the catering operations.

It is about to undergo an exciting phase in its development as it will shortly move to become an independent charitable trust, to be chaired by David Dimbleby. Part of this change will see a realignment of the Towner café, in future to be managed by an independent operator.

Sited on the top floor of Towner with spectacular views, the café will trade in line with opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm (5pm during winter), Bank Holiday Mondays 10am to 5pm.

In addition to the café trade, the successful caterer will have exclusive rights to cater for all events at Towner.

To register your interest, please contact Emma Morris, executive director at emma.morris@eastbourne.gov.uk by 6 January and you will be sent a short questionnaire. Following this, Towner will select a short list of potential catering partners who will be invited to tender for the business. Some modest capital expenditure may be required to mobilise the business.

Towner, Devonshire Park, College Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex BN21 4JJ
