The Balcon to open in St James

A new all-day brasserie will launch in London next month featuring 1920s interiors inspired by Coco Chanel's Paris apartment.

The Balcon will open on 17 October on the site previously occupied by Brasserie Roux on Pall Mall in St James.

It will offer an all-day menu of French and British dishes overseen by head chef Vincent Menager, who was previously executive chef at the Sofitel London St James.

Designed by Russell Sage Studios and the Gorgeous Group, interiors will include a Champagne balcony overlooking the main dining room framed by two spiral staircases.

Meanwhile the St James's Bar will take inspiration from the interiors of Coco Chanel's 1920s Paris apartment offering vintage cocktails from antique recipe books.
