The Botanist announces Sheffield launch

The Botanist pub and restaurant brand has announced it will open its 10th UK site later this month in Sheffield's Leopold Square.

Owned by the New World Trading Company, the new outlet will cover 10,000 sq ft across three floors of a Grade II-listed building.

The menu will offer deli, rotisserie and barbecue-inspired food. The bar will serve botanical cocktails, beers, ales and a handpicked selection of gin.

New World Trading Company chief executive Chris Hill said: "We are incredibly excited to bring the Botanist concept to Sheffield. The character and atmosphere of Leopold Square is the perfect location for our brand and we look forward to making Sheffield our next home."

The Botanist currently has sites in Manchester, Chester, Alderley Edge, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Marlow, Farnham and Knutsford.
