It's easy to make claims, present glowing figures from market research, the real test is whether the claims made for a product are actually delivered in practice. Nestlé shows how their Aero hot chocolate product helped one business in Bath.
The Hub Café is a small business located in the heart of Bath and it's owner Gino Ciriello introduced Aero Add Milk Hot Chocolate in November last year, just in time for the Christmas shopping season.
Within only four weeks, hot chocolate sales tripled.
Ciriello said: "We were serving another leading brand previously and sales were relatively low, so introducing Aero has had a significant impact on profits in a really short space of time. It is a fantastic product in more ways than one - not only does it taste more chocolaty than anything we've offered before, but it also mixes better, making it far easier and quicker for my staff to prepare when the crowds come through the door."
Interestingly Gino thought Aero Bubbly Hot Chocolate was so good that his customers would pay more. He was right; he added 20p a cup and sales continued to grow and even better so did his profits.
