The Metro's food critic is bowled over by former Bacchus chef Nuno Mendes' innovative 12-course menu at The Loft in east London.
Housed in a "funky East End loft-style development", the restaurant has just one table making the dining experience much like a "dinner party with strangers and a host who's permanently glued to the stove".
"Twelve courses, each one more abstruse than the last, all flawlessly presented, exactingly executed and wildly innovative," Marina O'Loughlin enthuses.
