Tim Churchman appointed general manager of The Queens in Belbroughton

The Queens in Belbroughton has appointed Tim Churchman as its new general manager.

With more than 25 years' experience in hotel and catering management, Churchman was previously manager of the Howard Arms in Ilmington and at one stage food and beverage director for Birmingham's five-star Hyatt Regency hotel.

The Queens was once managed by the late John Narbett, who Churchman worked for when he was turning the nearby Bell at Bell End into a top eatery.

Churchman said: "I will be looking to make improvements to the building and its facilities, as well as introduce new food dishes and wines, to ensure the Queens remains one of the best pub-restaurants in the Midlands."
