Time Out awards eating out shortlist announced

Arbutus restaurant in Soho is among five venues shortlisted by Time Out for the London entertainment guide's Best New Restaurant Award.

Ambassador restaurant in Finsbury, Bar Shu in Charing Cross, La Collina near Primrose Hill and Papillon in Brompton complete the short-list.

Arbutus opened in May and is owned by Anthony Demetre and Will Smith, formerly of the Michelin-starred Putney Bridge restaurant.

Other categories in the Time Out awards include, Best Family Restaurant, Best Gastropub and Best Wine Bar.
