Tombo to launch third London site

Japanese inspired poké and matcha bar, Tombo, is to launch its third site in Fitzrovia this July.

The new restaurant follows Tombo in South Kensington which launched in 2010, and Soho which opened last year.

Diners can enjoy an array of poké dishes made using sashimi-grade fish from Atariya Japanese fish suppliers.

Dishes include: the Classic Poké, which combines salmon or tuna with sesame soy, spring onion, edamame, sesame seeds and nori; Kaisen Poké, with ponzu citrus soy, salmon and tuna, edamame, avocado and nori; and Teriyaki Chicken Poké served on a bed of rice or courgette noodles.

Tombo has a relationship with a tea estate situated in the foothills of Mt. Fuji in Japan and supplies matcha tea to several cafés and patisseries in London.

In addition to matcha lattes and teas, there will also be an array of matcha desserts on offer including soft serve ice cream and sundaes; matcha tarts; and cheesecakes.

Tombo is owned by Mother Manami and brothers Louis and Leo Sloley.
