Top chefs join Nigel Haworth and Craig Bancroft for 2013 Obsession at Northcote
Nigel Haworth and Craig Bancroft have announced the line-up for the 2013 Obsession food festival at their Michelin-starred Northcote restaurant in Lancashire.
The 10-day gastronomic celebration, which will run from 21 to 30 January 2013, will feature some of the most talented international and UK chefs, who will each cook an exclusive five-course menu.
The line-up of participants includes two-Michelin-starred chefs Diego Guerrero from the El Club Allard in Madrid, Spain; and Dieter Koschina from Vila Joya in Portugal; as well as Tom Catherall, who runs five restaurants in Atlanta, USA.
UK stars cooking at Obsession 2013 are Michelin-starred chefs Phil Howard from the Square; Ashley Palmer-Watts from Dinner by Heston Blumenthal; and Agnar Sverrisson from Texture, all in London. The line-up will be completed by Cyrus Todiwala from Café Spice Namasté and Mr Todiwala's Kitchen; Bruno Loubet from Bistrot Bruno Loubet; Anna Hansen from the Modern Pantry; and Nigel Haworth and Lisa Allen from Northcote.
Haworth (pictured), chef-patron of Northcote, commented: "The calibre of chefs at Obsession13 is incredible. This year the festival has attracted chefs from Madrid, the Algarve and Atlanta, highlighting the credibility of the festival within the industry."
