Top chefs to headline Hospitality Action Christmas fundraising dinner
Leading chefs Raymond Blanc, Bruno Loubet and Ashley Palmer-Watts are joining forces with Park Plaza Westminster Bridge executive chef Walter Ishizuka to host this year's Christmas fundraising dinner for industry charity Hospitality Action (HA).
The exclusive four-course dinner and auction is now just under three weeks away and will take place in Brasserie Joël in London on 5 December, beginning with a drinks reception at 7pm.
Each chef will prepare a course and will be in attendance on the night to discuss their dishes.
Ishizuka will begin the proceedings with an amuse-bouche of oak smoked mackerel and kohlrabi, parmesan sable biscuit, yuzu and green apple jelly and pickled radish before Palmer-Watts prepares the meat fruit starter.
They will be followed by Loubet who will produce a corn velouté with sautéed Brussels sprout, black trompette and girolles, lovage oil and pheasant Boudin Blanc.
Raymond Blanc will prepare the evening's dessert of exotic fruit raviole, kaffir lime and coconut jus.
Funds will be raised via a live auction and prize draw with prizes donated by Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons and the Pony & Trap among others.
Tickets for the event cost £135 per person or £1,300 for a table of 10, including a Champagne and canapés reception, four course meal, half a bottle of wine per person, coffee and petits fours.
