Tower Bridge restaurant and café change hands

A restaurant and café in Tower Bridge Road, South East London, has been sold for £230,000.

The property occupies a prime position on the south bank of the River Thames near such attractions as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the London Dungeon.

The 60-seat Italian restaurant on the ground floor trades as The Don while the Picnic Basket café on the lower ground floor can seat 10 diners inside and another 24 on the patio outside.

At present, the first and second floors are used for storage and office space.

The London office of Christie + Co sold the remaining nine years on the current lease to Mr Hussard on behalf of previous owner, Mario Mingozzi.
