Tristan Mason aims for Michelin star at new restaurant
Former Michelin-starred chef Tristan Mason has reappeared on the culinary map and set up his own business in Horsham, West Sussex.
Mason left London restaurant Orrery in February
The 31-year-old chef, who has also worked with Marco Pierre White, is opening the 40-seat Restaurant Tristan tomorrow (22 July), showcasing modern British cuisine with French influences.
His aim is to gain Michelin status and put Horsham on the UK food map.
"Horsham is a lovely area - I just had a good feel about it," Mason told the West Sussex County Times. "I want to get my star and I want my three AA rosettes. I want to make it one of the best restaurants in England."
