Yauatcha site in the City to open in May
The Hakkasan Group is to open its second Yauatcha in London next month.
Part of the new Broadgate Circle development in the City, the 198 cover all-day dim sum restaurant will launch on 20 May.
Along with the restaurant, which will include two bars and two outside terraces, Hakkasan will open a standalone Yauatcha Patisserie on the level below the main eatery.
Under the guidance of executive head chef Tong Chee Hwee the restaurant will serve a wide range of steamed, baked, grilled and fried dim sum including scallop shui mai, prawn and beancurd cheung fun and venison puffs. To accompany the dim-sum, 38 types of tea will be available.
Executive pastry chef Graham Hornigold (pictured) will lead the team at Yauatcha Patisserie, which will sell macarons, petits gateaux and chocolates.
Designed by French designers GBRH, the restaurant will include the blue and pink palette associated with Yauatcha Soho along with aquariums, starlit ceilings and visible kitchens.
