Scottish hospitality operator Buzzworks secures B Corp certification

Scottish hospitality group Buzzworks has achieved B Corp certification.

It now joins the likes of Pizza Pilgrims, Grind and contract caterer Houston & Hawkes, which have also been recognised for their commitment to social responsibility and sustainability.

The accreditation comes soon after the family-owned restaurant and bar operator posted £34.8m in turnover in 2024, up from £29.9m the previous year.

Buzzworks is also looking to double its portfolio, which currently comprises 22 sites across brands such as Scotts, House, Lido, Vic’s & The Vine, and the Duke.

Kenny Blair, managing director of Buzzworks, said: “At Buzzworks, we’ve always believed in doing the right thing for our people, through industry-leading training and development initiatives, for the communities we operate in, by creating jobs and supporting local charities and for the planet. Becoming a certified B Corp is a major step forward in our commitment to all three.”

Buzzworks Holdings was founded in Ayrshire in 1978.
