Searcys adds to management team with three senior appointments

A new head of recruitment, operations director and commercial director have been appointed to the Searcys senior management team.

Nico Prinsloo joins the company as commercial director, Jean-Christophe Roumignac as operations director, and Laura Maddams as head of recruitment.

Prinsloo's role as commercial director will be focused on growth and new openings and formats. He joins Searcys from his own food and beverage consultancy Lets-Confab, with clients including the Royal Overseas League, Aldenham Estate and Elstree Studios. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at CH&Co where he became group sales director.

As operations director Roumignac will work across Searcys' venue portfolio, having spent 22 years working at hospitality businesses including Ampersand, the Genuine Dining Co and RA Venues, as well as at events including the state banquets and Her Majesty's Garden parties at Buckingham Palace and Windsor.

Meanwhile, Maddams joins Searcys from the Ivy Collection where she was head of recruitment having spent 10 years in the talent acquisition internationally.

"This has been a transformational 175th year for Searcys and next year is shaping up to be an equally exciting one," said Paul Jackson, Managing Director of Searcys.

"I am looking forward to working closely with Laura, Nico and Jean-Christophe and am confident their experience and skills, along with those of the rest of the leadership team, will support our growth plans. In 2023, we will focus on delivering impeccable events and dining experiences, with an emphasis on quality, attention to detail and finesse with a human touch."
