Sodexo appoints former Aramark MD

Sodexo has appointed Janet Wigley as chief executive for Corporate Services UK.

She joins from Aramark where she was managing director responsible for Workplace Experience Group, Graysons, Wilson Vale and By Word of Mouth. Prior to that she spent almost seven years at Compass Group, rising to business development director before leaving for Aramark in 2022.

Sodexo said that her appointment would drive growth in the delivery of workplace services, facilities management and food services.

Her appointment comes after the caterer announced a renewed focus on technology to improve its technology, procurement and organisational structure.

Sodexo UK & Ireland chief executive Jean Renton said: “Janet joins Sodexo with a wealth of expertise across workplace services and building high-performing teams.
