Sodexo wins eleven-year contract with Fulham Football Club's Pier development

Sodexo Live! has secured an eleven-year contract with Fulham Football Club (FFC) on its upcoming Fulham Pier leisure development.

The contract, which started in July, will see Sodexo Live! collaborate with the FFC leadership team on the physical delivery of the venue, as well as bringing in retail partners for the leisure complex.

Upon completion, Fulham Pier will feature restaurants, a riverside market, boutique hotel and spa, meetings and events spaces, bars and lounges, and a basement entertainment venue, with a matchday capacity of 28,000 people.

Sodexo Live! will be providing hospitality, retail and non-event day sales and catering for FFC.

It will also act as a strategic commercial partner for the club's transformation of its Craven Cottage football ground.

David Trotter, divisional managing director of Sodexo Live! UK & Ireland, said: "This is an incredible project that will put Fulham Pier at the heart of its community, as a leader in cutting edge hospitality and leisure."

Alistair Mackintosh, chief executive officer of Fulham Football Club, added: "Fulham Pier is a game-changing development for the local community. It will not only bring a wide range of high-quality amenities to the area; it will also attract visitors from far and wide."

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Earlier this month, Sodexo secured a seven-year extension to its contract with Abingdon School in Oxford.
