Planning permission sought for 230 holiday lodges at St Mellion International Resort

The St Mellion International Resort is seeking to expand with the addition of 230 holiday lodges as part of a £30m development.

Permission has been sought from Cornwall Council by the resort's owner Crown Golf to add extensive leisure facilities alongside the lodges.

The new features include tennis courts, adventure golf course and cycle routes, while young guests will benefit from a kids club and adventure play area. There will also be as farm shop, cafe, micro-brewery, artisan bakery and wedding barn.

The four-AA-star St Mellion International Resort currently has 80 bedrooms, conference facilities, health club, spa and two golf courses, including one named after pro-golfer Jack Nicklaus.

Crown Golf, which specialises in running a portfolio of golf clubs across the UK, has partnered with property investment management firm Sequoia Real Estate to develop its hospitality business.
