The brand has stayed true to its intention, to make organic accessible across the market
Pip Organic has shown that small to medium-sized enterprises can be mighty, with husband and wife team Patrick and Karen O’Flaherty spying a gap in the market to create healthy organic children’s juices and smoothies.
The O’Flaherty’s own family needs were crucial in understanding what products they should develop. The company’s new Apple Fizz was an idea it had been honing for many years to ensure it is true to Pip Organic’s beliefs: a drink that is made using 100% organically grown fruit that is one of your five a day and with zero added sugar.
Pip Organic’s mission is to make organic accessible to everyone, which is reflected in the listings it has across the hospitality market, from Nando’s to PizzaExpress, as well as the leisure and travel markets.
Recently, Pip Organic has worked closely with partners in the out-of-home channel to develop a point of sale snack crate for its newly-launched Pipsticks – fruit snacks in organic mango and mango and pineapple flavours.
It also works closely with customers on marketing initiatives such as social media competitions, on-the-ground activations at consumer events and email marketing.
It is therefore no wonder that over the past three years the brand has experienced double-digit growth, justifiably making it the SME Brand of the Year.
“Pip Organic is on a trajectory of growth. It knows its market well and is responding to market trends.”
