Switch Hospitality Management lines up Birmingham hotel openings

The group will take on the management of Birmingham's former Nitenite hotel, which has been closed since 2018 due to flood damage. Final discussions are taking place to confirm the name and branding of the 130-bedroom property when it reopens.
It will also manage the former Royal Angus hotel, which is owned by Seven Capital Investments and is undergoing work by Colmore Tang to open as a 174-bedroom property with a mixture of hotel bedrooms and luxury apartments.
John Angus, managing director, said: "I am bursting with enthusiasm for the launch of our new company Switch Hospitality Management and our website. I believe our site portrays the professionalism and quality our team has to offer. It is also fantastic to share some positive news in these uncertain times, we are a hospitality company that has kept our businesses and teams operating and in profit, and we are also recruiting to continue the development of our teams."
The group was set up by the previous senior management team of Birmingham's Park Regis hotel last year and manages both the Park Regis and Holiday Inn Express hotels in the city.
