Casa Fofó team's Bianca closure paves way for new neighbourhood restaurant

Bianca’s in London’s Stoke Newington, which was launched by the team behind the Michelin-starred Casa Fofó in London’s Hackney, has closed.

The restaurant and wine bar took its name from chef-owner Adolfo De Cecco’s first child and launched back in April 2025 serving the likes of handmade pork agnolotti and salted milk ice cream with rhubarb and seaweed.

In a post on Instagram, the team behind Bianca’s said “the time wasn’t quite right” and informed diners that the restaurant had closed its doors at the end of August.

However, the site will remain part of the Casa Fofó family to make way for the upcoming neighbourhood restaurant, Da Pino.

Da Pino will be led by two long-standing members of the team, chef Giuseppe Pino and front of house manager Federico.

Pino has worked at Casa Fofó since its launch back in 2019, and for the last two years was its head chef, while Federico moved to Bianca’s after three years managing the Michelin-starred restaurant.

In a post on Instagram, Pino said: “Federico and I will be taking over Bianca’s, a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Stoke Newington. A longtime dream finally comes true and I couldn’t be happier. The plan is simply to create the neighbourhood restaurant we all deserve.”

The Bianca’s team added: “We couldn’t be more excited to support them as they take this next step. We’re incredibly proud to see two people who have given so much to the team go on to create a concept of their own.

“We’ll be sharing more details as they become available, and we can’t wait to see what they create.”

Casa Fofó was launched by De Cecco, the former head chef at the now-closed Pidgin, in 2019 and went onto win a Michelin star in 2021.
