The Botanist to anchor £30m Bracknell development

The Botanist has been named among a new list of F&B and leisure brands to open in the Deck at the Lexicon, a fully covered and purpose-built event space in Bracknell's town centre's regeneration initiative.

The Botanist, part of New World Trading Co, will bring its "unique brand of concept bar and world-famous selection of cocktails" to an 8,000sq ft unit as part of the next £30m stage of the Berkshire town's regeneration. It has been confirmed that among the Botanist's neighbours at the new leisure development will be Hollywood Bowl, which has also signed to run 20 bowling lanes as well as a bar, diner and amusements area.

The development promises a transformation of the town centre with new food and leisure units linking into both the Lexicon retail area and the refurbished Princess Square.

Peter Courtney, director at Lunson Mitchenall, acting as sole agents for the Deck at the Lexicon, stated: "We have always been determined to achieve the right tenants for the Lexicon, with the aim of creating a truly mixed used destination."

The Botanist, which has temporarily closed its sites across the UK due to the coronavirus outbreak, opened its 20th bar in Cardiff in February.
