The Westbury hotel operator has named the property’s sales and marketing director as its new CCO
The Doyle Collection has appointed Katie Farrell, who has worked at the group’s flagship hotel the Westbury in Dublin, as its new chief commercial officer.
Farrell’s promotion comes after 11 years in post as director of sales and marketing at the Westbury, during which time she “played a pivotal role in shaping the hotel’s market positioning, driving sustained commercial performance and elevating its profile as one of Europe’s most celebrated luxury properties”.
In her new role, Farrell will lead the commercial, sales and marketing strategy across the Doyle Collection’s eight-strong portfolio of hotels in Ireland, the UK and US, with a focus on strengthening the group’s international footprint, bolstering its brand and driving long-term commercial success.
Alongside the Westbury, the Doyle Collection counts London’s the Marylebone, the Kensington and the Bloomsbury in its roster of properties, alongside the Dupont Circle hotel in Washington DC and the River Lee in Cork.
The Doyle Collection’s CEO Timur Sentuerk said: “Katie has been a driving force within the Doyle Collection for more than a decade, and her leadership, strategic insight and deep understanding of the luxury hospitality landscape make her exceptionally well-placed to take on this important role.
“We are delighted to welcome her to the senior leadership team as we continue to invest in our properties, strengthen our brand and pursue ambitious plans for growth.”
Farrell added: “I have grown and learned so much within the group since joining in 2014, and it has been a privilege to contribute to our commercial direction and sustained performance.
“As I begin this exciting new chapter, I look forward to leading our commercial and marketing direction, building on the strong foundations in place and collaborating with our exceptional teams across Dublin, London and our wider portfolio.”
