Thomas Franks secures Durham Cricket contract

Thomas Franks has been appointed catering partner at Durham Cricket’s Banks Homes Riverside stadium.

It will take on all food, beverage and hospitality services that had previously been managed in-house by Durham Cricket Events at the 15,000 seat stadium at Chester-Le-Street. 

Thomas Franks launched its sport and leisure division in 2023 and currently operates stadia contracts at Somerset County Cricket Club and Dunfermline AFC. 

Durham Cricket finance director Ian Dawson said: “We were impressed by Thomas Franks’ personal approach, the robustness of their financial projections and their creativity.

“There was a strong alignment in values between our organisations, particularly in our shared commitment to supporting small local enterprises within the supply chain. I am confident this partnership will enhance the experience for everyone who visits Banks Homes Riverside.”
