Tom Kerridge and Corinthia London to unveil new bar this autumn

Tom Kerridge and Corinthia London have announced the launch of a new bar alongside a redesign of Kerridge’s Bar & Grill.

The Michelin-star chef’s restaurant at the luxury Westminster hotel will close temporarily on 2 August and will reopen in early September with the introduction of the new bar.

Since opening in 2018, Kerridge’s Bar & Grill has become known for the chef’s acclaimed take on British classics, which include Barnsley lamb chop and Cornish haddock and chips.

News of the launch of the bar and redesign of the restaurant comes as Corinthia hotels secured a £192m loan last year to support the growth of the five-star hotel.

Speaking at the time the loan was given, Michael Izzo, chief strategy officer at Corinthia London, said that funds are “crucial to ensuring we can grow as a business”.

He added: “We’re excited about our plans for Corinthia London and look forward to working together to deliver these in the years ahead.”

The Corinthia, which opened in 2011, has various bars and restaurants including Mezzogiorno by Francesco Mazzei which opened last year, and drinks expert Salvatore Calabrese’s Velvet bar.
