Will a drink-drive ban stop me getting a liquor licence?

Question
I recently had to leave my job due to the fact that I had been disqualified from driving due to drinking. I am keen to run a pub. Is it possible for me to obtain a liquor licence with this sort of mark on my record?

Most courts would view such a recent drink-drive ban as a "no" for granting a justice's licence because they would view you as not fit to be in charge of premises selling alcohol.
If, however, there were any exceptional circumstances, an application could be supported by a solicitor and may get through.
