He remains at the premium coffee house as group chief business development officer
Will Stratton-Morris has stepped down as chief executive of Caffè Nero UK after more than seven years in the role.
He resigned from the UK board on 31 May and has since taken up a new position as group chief business development officer.
While plans are underway to appoint his successor, the premium coffee house will be led by group chief executive Gerry Ford, group chief financial officer Ben Price and UK managing director Glyn House.
Ford said: “Will has worked very hard over the past 7+ years to promote the Caffè Nero business in the United Kingdom. The board and I would like to thank him for all his effort and commitment.
“As we move into a phase of greater expansion, I’m sure Will’s skill sets will prove extremely useful to the group in establishing new business partnerships, developing our footprint in new countries and securing new commercial relationships.”
Stratton-Morris’ departure from his role as UK chief executive comes after Caffè Nero posted 11% global sales growth and 8% UK sales growth in its third quarter results, covering the period from 1 December 2024 to 28 February 2025.
The group also opened 15 new stores during the quarter, including its first café in Saudi Arabia, as well as four sites across the UK.
Caffè Nero operates over 1,100 stores across 11 countries and owns 94% of its sites.
