Yummy Collection rebrands as Hoste

Yummy Collection has rebranded as Hoste to coincide with the pub and restaurant group’s 20th anniversary.

Inspired by the Middle English word for ‘guest’, the group said its new identity better reflects its commitment to warm hospitality.

Hoste was founded by Anthony Pender, Jason Rowlands and Tim Foster in 2007. Since 2022, Pender has been the only person to remain with the London-based business, which now includes the Somers Town Coffee House in Euston, the Victoria in Bow, the Faber in Hammersmith and several other pubs.

The group will soon welcome the Tallyman in September, in addition to an outlet within the King’s Cross Tribeca London life sciences development in 2027.

Pender is joined by operations director Matthew Ward, who has been a partner at the Victoria since 2023, as well as partner and founder Paul Pavli, former managing director of Punch, who has spent the past three years as an advisor to Hoste.

Pender said: “It’s been a once in a lifetime experience having the honour to found and lead this business into what it is today. We’ve been expanding our collection of venues and dedicating a lot of energy to ensure each one feels gloriously independent and unique.

“We have a truly amazing and inspirational team that makes each and every one of our venues special, and this will continue to be a vital part of what Hoste is. We have exciting things on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share more soon.”

In 2025, Hoste also launched the Faber Seafood Counter at the Holborn Dining Room at the Rosewood London.
