Nichlas Saul

Nichlas Saul is co-founder and CEO of FoodOp, a co-pilot for contract caterers that helps chef teams save time, cut costs and drive sustainability. FoodOp is used across 1,000+ locations in the Nordics and the UK and has enabled customers to save £3.5m, 7,200 tonnes of CO2e and 1,300 tonnes of food waste.

Nichlas and his co-founder Christian started FoodOp to tackle food waste, which accounts for 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions. They quickly realised it was one symptom of outdated and fragmented kitchen operations, leading them to build an intuitive, AI-driven digital assistant for chef teams.
