BFFF unveils the winners of its annual frozen food awards

Mövenpick Grand Marnier Ice-Cream has been crowned the overall Catering Product of the Year at the British Frozen Food Federation annual awards.

The awards, which were judged by members of the Craft Guild of Chefs, reward frozen foods that take the labour out of dishes that would normally require intensive preparation.

The orange-scented and rippled Grand Marnier ice-cream scooped the Best New Dessert/Ice Cream/Confectionery Product category, which also recognised Mövenpick's Mango & Cream flavour with a joint silver rating.

Wholesaler Brakes left with the biggest clutch of awards, taking home three golds and five bronzes for products from its Creative Foods, La Boulangerie and Brakes-branded lines.
