Cathy Wilcox joins Radford Chancellor in industry mentoring role

Consultancy firm Radford Chancellor Ltd has recruited Cathy Wilcox to lead its sales mentorship offer for professionals and teams across the foodservice equipment sector.

Wilcox brings decades of experience spanning commercial catering equipment sales, contract and design work, business leadership and the development of long-term customer relationships.

A former CEDA board member and managing director of kitchen design and supply company Wilcox Burchmore, Wilcox will work alongside principal and founder Radford Chancellor to support salespeople and future industry leaders in becoming trusted commercial advisers.

Wilcox’s sales mentorship will be grounded in the practical realities of the sector, with a focus on relationship building, communication, commercial judgement, negotiation, confidence and reputation.

Chancellor, a judge for The Caterer’s Supplier Awards, said: “Cathy is a genuine powerhouse of our industry. She understands the demands of commercial equipment sales from every perspective: the product, the project, the customer, the team and the responsibility that comes with leadership.

Wilcox will lead one-to-one mentoring, structured sales development programmes, workshops, and leadership mentoring. The aim is to help participants pair technical knowledge with the confidence, communication and commercial understanding needed to build enduring client relationships.

The appointment solely relates to Radford Chancellor Ltd, which is a separate business from Chancellor’s kitchen design consultancy, Macintosh Foodservice Consultants.
