Hoshizaki boosts Northern Ireland delivery capabilities

Hoshizaki UK has bolstered its infrastructure for Northern Irish customers by opening a warehouse in Dublin, Ireland.

Serving hospitality operators both north and south of the border, the new facility is able to hold up to 150 refrigeration and ice-maker units.

The site is intended to provide a vital connection point from Hoshizaki UK’s manufacturing facilities in Telford and enable faster deliveries across the island of Ireland, including next-day delivery to local areas.

Nationwide delivery is offered with a maximum turnaround time of 48 hours, with same-day delivery also available in select regions for an additional fee.

In addition to hospitality, the Dublin facility is aimed at strengthening service to healthcare, education, the care sector and food-to-go, ensuring each market receives Hoshizaki products within acceptable timeframes and without compromising food hygiene or safety.

Simon Frost, director, Hoshizaki UK and Ireland, said: “Refrigeration and ice-makers are some of the only pieces of kitchen equipment used 24/7, so their importance cannot be understated. When operators are looking to upgrade kit, they often need fast delivery – exactly what the Dublin warehouse enables us to achieve.”

The facility should also strengthen Hoshizaki’s technical support structure, with ongoing engineer training led by Andy Norton, service manager at Hoshizaki UK, designed to deliver faster, more reactive service responses and technical expertise across the region.

The Dublin warehouse will formally join Hoshizaki’s distribution network supported by JMC Haulage.

Hoshizaki launched its first multideck range, Advance, earlier this year.
