Independent wine and beer importers PLB Group move into spirits

Independent wine and beer importers PLB Group has announced that it is now incorporating spirits into its portfolio.

The expansion of the business comes as part of PLB's five-year strategy to diversify its offering and follows a move into the branded beer arena.

"It is important in today's climate to be able to offer a full range of services," says PLB managing director Peter Darbyshire. "We are now perfectly poised to integrate a range of spirits agencies into the PLB stable."

PLB began importing wines 26 years ago and has a wine and beer producer base that covers Europe, the Americas, Australasia and South Africa.
