Light equipment supplier’s products will now be classified in four commercial verticals
Mitchell & Cooper has reorganised its light equipment range into four commercial verticals, as well as unveiling a new identity for its flagship brand Bonzer.
The new product architecture organises the range around how professionals buy and work.
The first category, Bonzer Icons, will encompass benchtop can openers, portioners, heat-proof gloves, cutting boards and dispensing solutions – the everyday equipment that keeps service running.
Bonzer Barworks will be for mixology products, with bar tools built for speed, precision and theatre.
The third classification, Bonzer Elements, involves hospitality presentation ranges for guest-facing spaces.
Finally, Bonzer Horizons incorporates ‘future-facing tools’ and solutions shaped by innovation, ethics, hygiene and circular design, built to solve the problems hospitality is only just beginning to face.
The new Bonzer visual identity will roll out across products, packaging, distributor materials and its website throughout 2026, ahead of the brand’s centenary year in 2027.
Product and brand director Kat Cooper said: “This brand evolution has been about balancing responsibility with ambition. My brother [managing director Guy Cooper] and I are the fourth generation of our family to run this business, and when you inherit a brand with almost 100 years of history, the role isn’t simply to protect what came before, it’s to understand it deeply enough to carry it forward.
“This evolution of our identity finally gives the brand an identity that matches its reputation and sets it on a journey for the next 100 years.”
