Williams has introduced the UK foodservice market’s first multi-temperature refrigerated counters and cabinets. The Jade MultiTemp range can be set to meet the temperature requirements of different food types, from chill to freeze, from +8°C to - 22°C. Each unit can be adjusted to within 0.1°C accuracy. There are five Jade MultiTemp models: a two- and a three-door counter unit; a one- and a two-door cabinet unit; and a one-door cabinet featuring two independently-controlled half-door sections.

Carpigiani has added the Friulinox Combi Ice to its portfolio. The Combi Ice is an all-in-one refrigeration system for ice-cream shops and pastry kitchens that eliminates the need for separate units for chilling and storage. It offers both blast-chilling and storage capabilities, both controlled using a 5” colour touchscreen. The system uses R290 ecological refrigerant gas and a ventilated evaporator to maximise cooling efficiency.
Price £9,650

Scotsman, distributed by Hubbard Systems, has re-engineered its undercounter supercube EXG icemakers to replace the EC series. The EXG features an all-black fascia and creates thimble-shaped supercubes by spraying water up into inverted cups. A front-venting refrigeration system means EXG models can be fully built-in, while a new 3D front grid optimises air ventilation. Six models are in the series, capable of producing from 25kg to 150kg of ice a day.
Price EXG 47, from £2,795

FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) has launched the Gram G+ Compact Series of energy-efficient refrigerators and freezers in both undercounter and floor-standing models. Automatic defrost and rapid temperature recovery help maintain consistent performance, while an air distribution system ensures even temperature. The units only use compressors where needed, helping reduce power consumption. The refrigerators operate within a +2°C to +12°C temperature range and the freezers between -22°C to -5°C. The Compact 200 models have a small footprint and low height, the 400 models offer increased storage capacity with a small footprint and the 600 models have capacity for GN 2/1 containers.
Price Compact 200 from at £1,045

Manitowoc Ice’s latest NEO range of easy to install undercounter icemakers are designed to offer improvements in sustainability, running costs and ice cube purity due to the integrated water filter, which reduces scale build-up to keep the machine running efficiently. The three NEO icemaker models use R290, an eco-friendly refrigerant, and can produce from 60kg to 135kg of ice per day. Each can be specified to produce regular, dice or half dice cubes.
