3663 named Green Wholesaler of the year
3663 has been awarded the Green Wholesaler of the Year at The Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD) Awards 2013.
The award was given in recognition of 3663's corporate sustainable and environmental achievements over the past year. The citation made reference to the businesses' passion and dedication to making valuable changes for the benefit of customers, suppliers and employees.
During the judging, experts said: "A very impressive record of environmental awareness gives 3663 the edge in a tight contest, particularly its systematic engagement processes with suppliers through Sustainable Futures Partnerships, and with its own staff via its Sustainability Conference. These initiatives are driven and resourced right from the top through the Sustainability Executive."
On winning the award, Ian Crawford, 3663 group commercial director, said: "We are thrilled to have 3663's green credentials recognised by winning this award.
3663 was also shortlisted for the FWD's annual Environmental Initiative in the Wholesale Channel, Delivered Depot Manager and Delivered Wholesale Driver honours and nominated for the Pritchitts 2013 Telesales Achiever Award for outstanding customer service.
