3663 secures £20m deal with Interserve

"Through this relationship we are hoping to see advantages such as: reducing our road miles; converting cooking oil into bio-diesel for our fleets; increasing the number of self-delivered meals; and implementing the right systems to source local products through a national supply chain," said Guy Bruce, Interserve's strategic director, procurement and supply chain

UK-based Interserve has annual revenues of £1.9b and a global workforce approaching 50,000.

3663, a leading food service wholesale distributor to approximately 60,000 customers, is re-shaping its support services, processes and products to benefit its customers

The group recently announced that it can now [certify the carbon savings ](http://www.caterersearch.com/Articles/2011/04/26/337907/3663-now-able-to-certify-customers-carbon-savings.htm)made by customers who have signed up to its used cooking oil scheme, and late last year it launched a [design and installation servicefor its customers.
