37 primary school meals from Apetito

Apetito has 37 main-course dishes designed for the primary school sector.

Chicken Tikka Masala has proved particularly popular and consists of tender chicken pieces in a subtle spicy sauce. As with all other meals for education available through Apetito, the dish is free from hydrogenated vegetable oil and artificial colours and flavours.

It is stored frozen and heated in a combi-oven or regeneration trolley before serving. Each product in the range is available in 12 x 100g portion trays.

Vegetarian meals are in three-portion trays.

All products have been developed for use as part of a balanced school lunch menu in accordance with the guidelines of the School Food Trust, and are designed to support the Government's standards for school lunches to be introduced in primary schools by September.
