Adams Foods launch foodservice division and innovation centre

Adams Foods has launched a new foodservice division to bring its dairy expertise to the catering and hospitality industry nationwide.

Adams Foodservice will also offer a new range of Adams products which include individual quick frozen cheese (IQF), liquid cheeses and sauces, dairy powder solutions, inclusion cheeses from the speciality range and a small range of dessert ideas.

With the recent launch of a new innovation centre at its headquarters in Leek. Following a £3m investment of its current site, and the introduction of new equipment and the creation of 20 new local jobs within the business, recruitment of a development chef and support from chef John Burton Race, the business aims to produce great tasting recipe solutions for their customer base using a range of products to enhance each dish created.

Gill Thomas, director of sales for Adams Foodservice, said: "Adams Foods as a business is committed to driving category growth through fresh thinking and ground breaking innovation and believes that the same care and attention should be available for all foodservice customers across the UK.

Alastair Jackson, marketing director for Adams Foods, added: "The new innovation centre is a fantastic addition to our business and we're proud of how it's come together.

"Innovation will continue to play a huge part in our business plans going forward, as well as in the progress of the industry, and we aim to be leading that charge all the way with our ever-growing breadth of expertise."
