Adande supports UK Skills with additional benefits
Adande is the Senior Competition Sponsor for the cooking, confectionery and pastry competitions at UK Skills taking place from 15 to 17 November at the NEC Birmingham.
The company is supplying 14 of its VCS2/CW two-drawer refrigeration units throughout the heats but will also offer FE providers a 35% discount off list price on purchase of the equipment post-show.
Colleges and schools may also be able to get 50% off the balance funded by a Government grant.
Nigel Bell, chairman of Adande, said: "We are keen supporter of skills development for youngsters.
"Our units were used by 31 cooking competitors at WorldSkills 2011 and most of these were snapped up by colleges - Canterbury bought four two-drawer Adande units for a total of £5,320. The normal list price for the four would have been £16,360 - so there are bargains to be had!"
