Increased efficiency and green savings are built into Electrolux's Air-o-steam Touchline combi-ovens, with carbon dioxide emissions 10 times lower than the strict Dutch Gastec certification and 100 times lower than the European Standard Limit.

The high-definition touch-screen panel (which offers 30 different language options) provides three cooking modes - manual, automatic and programs - to suit chefs of all skill levels, and can be personalised with the operator's preferred settings. It has room for 1,000 free 16-phase recipes that can be saved on a USB drive (as can HACCP safety data).

The oven's Food Safe Control monitors cooking independently from the recipe being used, and the oven will determine if food has been cooked enough to achieve pasteurisation or destruction of all hazardous microbes.

Other eco- and money-saving features include reduced standby time, solutions for pre-heating, and the Green Spirit cleaning functions for water, energy and rinse aid.

Air-o-Steam combis are designed to work in tandem with Electrolux's Air-o-Chill blast chillers and freezers to form complete cook-and-chill systems.
