Alfresco Drinks launches mineral water for foodservice

Cheltenham-based Alfresco Drinks - founded by Robin Sheppard, the man behind the award-winning Ty Nant water brand - has expanded its 20-strong line-up of natural, additive-free soft drinks with the launch of a mineral water for the foodservice market.

Its "Be" waters come in two forms - "Be" still and the gently-carbonated "Be" active - and are bottled at source at Wenlock Edge in Shropshire, where the sweet, pure, high-calcium water has been filtered through limestone strata. The mineral water is available in 750ml and 330ml glass screw-top bottles designed to look good on a restaurant table. The group also supplies own-brand products to clients such as Pret A Manger and Compass Group.
