Alpha-F filter coffee machine from Melitta

The new Alpha-F filter coffee machine from Melitta is designed to ensure operators never run out of fresh coffee- an intelligent programme will start preparing a fresh brew when the volume drops below a pre-defined level.

The machine can be set to maintain as little as half a litre to as much as four litres (equivalent to 500 cups per hour) and a Fast programme can be set to pick out three periods when larger quantities will be needed.

The coffee can be stored for up to four hours in an insulated chamber in the machine, after which it is discarded and replaced by a fresh brew.

Hot water is also available continuously and can be drawn off at the same time as the coffee.

The machine, which can be used alone or as part of the modular Alpha espresso machine, milk fridge and cup-warmer, has high and low nozzles to dispense into cups or pots, plus a special adaptor for bigger containers.
