For safe transport of food from central to satellite kitchens at care homes and healthcare establishments, Alto Shaam hot holding trolleys are mounted on heavy-duty castors for easy movement of hot food in a strictly temperature-controlled environment without deterioration in quality, taste or appearance.
Trolleys employ Halo Heat insulation and temperature controls and operate off 13amp electrical connections. Capacity is 2 x 16 Gastronorm 1/1 pans (65mm deep). List price is from £4,250. Care UK, which provides care and support for more than 2,900 people in 90 community-based care homes and independent hospitals, now uses more than 20 of the trolleys and specifies them at all new builds.
