The group has also started work on a £3m expansion of its Cardiff facilitythat will add 20,000 square feet and boost its weekly capacity from 700,000 to 1.1 million items on completion in May. New laundry equipment is being supplied by Kannegiesser. Anfonwen is also investing in new heat and water recovery systems. Its expansion is backed by a £6m refinancing package from Yorkshire Bank, HSB Equipment Finance and the Welsh Assembly Government.
