The latest Angel Megatop refrigerated prep counters from Katerbay offer 50% greater storage capacity than their forerunners.
Available in two sizes, the Megatops use forced air cooling to maintain temperatures as low as -1˚C around the range of chilled ingredients they keep close to hand for caterers preparing salads, sandwiches, baguettes or pizzas.
The smaller, 700mm-wide model (the SMT 7000) can accommodate 9 x GN1/6 and 3 x GN1/9 containers and is most suitable for burger and sandwich bars. The larger STM 1540 has a 1540mm width and room for 24 GN1/6 containers.
Both come with castors, a five-year compressor warranty, a two-year parts guarantee, and optional neutral or illuminated gantries.
