The Argentinian La Flor Malbec Rosé, Pulenta Estate, Argentina 2007 (abv 14%) has an intense nose of soft red fruits that are delicate on the palate and deliver a silky texture.
The spiced La Ferme Julien Rouge, Perrin & Fils, Rhone 2006 (13.5%) is a medium-bodied and well-balanced red with lots of fruit and pepper, smooth tannins and a long, clean finish.
Ripe melon and pear aromas dominate the Pecan Stream Chenin Blanc, Waterford Estate, South Africa 2007 (abv 13%), providing densely layered fruit on the palate and refreshing acidity.
