Battery-powered sweepers from Nimbus

The three Nimbus battery-powered sweepers from JohnsonDiversey offer a choice of pedestrian or ride-on models for use indoors and/or outside. Each uses twin contra-rotating brushes to scoop debris into the internal waste bin and create a vacuum to effectively remove dust.

The compact, lightweight Nimbus 900, which has a 60-litre waste bin, is ideal for sweeping carpets and hard floors clear of drink bottles and cans. It runs for up to two hours before the batteries need recharging and covers as much as 2,340sq m per hour.

The more powerful Nimbus 1000 is available with new XFC battery technology from EnerSys Motive Power which cuts energy consumption by 20% when used with a high-frequency charger. The sweeper, with a 70-litre waste bin and coverage of as much as 2,600sq m per hour, can be used outdoors as well as inside and provides three hours of use before recharge.

The large, ride-on Nimbus 1100, with a 90-litre waste bin, covers between 4,620sq m and 6,600sq m per hour and features six separate motors and a High Dump option that deposits waste into roller bins without lifting the on-board hopper.

The four models are made from heavy-duty steel and impact-resistant polyethylene and incorporate two side brooms, a flashing beacon, a horn, an acoustic reverse warning, and foam-filled rear wheels.
