Two styles of cooking and three fuel options are offered on the new line of tandoori ovens from Beech of Australia that has joined the Exclusive Ranges catalogue.

Caterers can choose between a traditional ceramic cooking surface (which is suitable for breads) or a lightweight mild steel surface that heats up rapidly.

Fuel options include the traditional charcoal, which imparts an even heat and a special flavour, as well as electricity or gas, which opens the tandoori experience to a wider range of kitchens.

The ovens - available with round, square or barrel-shaped exteriors and interiors with 500mm or 700mm diameters - can be freestanding or built into a range and do not need a canopy.

The range of finishes includes painted black, stainless steel, copper or terracotta enamel, and the ovens can be customised with paint or patterned metal and the addition of skewer racks or gastronorm shelves.
