Bespoke tomato sauces from Beacon Foods

Brecon-based ingredients specialist Beacon Foods is whipping up a range of multifunctional tomato sauces for pizza bases, pasta and dips with the help of food consultant Nellie Nichols.
"Most of the sauces used on pizza bases can be very similar," says Nichols, "so we want to come up with original, bespoke sauces that are also delicious in their own right and will perform perfectly with pasta or as dips."
She is focusing on herb- and spice-infused sauces to deliver a range of customised blends with an intense but fresh flavour to complement meat, fish and pasta dishes.
